Sedgley and Gornal United Football Club are proud to announce their partnership with Walsall Football Club Academy. The partnership will see the two clubs working closely together to identify suitable potential talent for Walsalls academy either from recommendation by club coaches or inviting Walsall scouts to view matches. Walsall will also provide cpd sessions for Sedgley and Gornal United FC coaches to help develop young footballers from our area.
The partnership kicked off with a group of coaches visiting Walsall and given a presentation on the Walsall DNA and methodology of coaching followed by observing Academy junior teams sessions.
