Media and Marketing Manager

Role

The individual will occupy a board position and report to the club chairman

Responsibilities

• Help to promote Sedgley & Gornal United FC to support our plans to grow all sections of the club (Utilising local press, social media, links with schools and colleges etc)
• Work closely with other board members to identify funding opportunities and assist teams to develop their own funding
• Attend board meetings (usually around 4 per year but could be more depending on ongoing projects)
• Assist in developing club strategies and facilty acquisition

Might Suit

• Someone who currently works in marketing, PR or Corporate services
• Who has a love for football, particularly at grassroots level, and possibly has a child playing at grassroots
• Anyone who has the local community at heart and wishes to see it develop along with the football club and benefiting the community helping to raise health and fitness levels by particpating in football activities
• Someone who can commit to working at least a few hours per week

In Return

• You will occupy a directors position on the board of Gornal Community Football Club Limited. (To be renamed Sedgley and Gornal United FC)
• You will help contribute to the renewed growth of the football club
• You will enjoy an interesting and challenging role
• You may gain further experience of a a volunteer marketing role which may a enhance a c.v.
