Sky Sports News presenter, Hayley McQueen, has congratulated Gornal Ladies FC after they received a £4500 Grow the Game grant from the Football Foundation, the country’s largest sports charity.
The grant, which will provide a boost to grassroots football in Gornal and surrounding areas has paved the way for Gornal Ladies FC to create a new girls academy and 3 new teams at open age, U9 and U11 to add to their existing teams. In order to help develop these teams and others we will also be funding a number of coaches by providing access to FA coaching qualifications.
