We are pleased to announce that Gornal Ladies FC has been chosen to run an SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centre centre at Ellowes Hall Sports College to cover Gornal, Sedgley and North Dudley area.
The centre is to provide girls aged 5 to 11 with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessionsin a fun and engaging environment.
The sessions will take place on a weekly basis at Ellowes Hall Sports College, Stickly Lane, Dudley DY3 2JH giving girls the opportunity to have fun engaging with football, making new friends, devloping fundamental skills and creating a foundation for a lifelong love of sport.
Each SSE Wildcats Football Centre is run in conjunction with local County FA’s utilising qualified coaches and local facilities to offer girls a location nearby where they can get involved.
SSE Wildcats Girls Football has been established in partnership with SSE, supporters of girls football participation and sponsor of the SSE Womens FA Cup, with support from UEFA, FIFA and the Youth Sport Trust.
All participants will have the opportunity to be placed with a team within Gornal Ladies FC.
